Ovarian cancerous affection is unfortunately a high death cause in every corner of the world today. This affection manages to claim the lives of more than fifty two thousand women year by year, affecting another one hundred thousand others. The causes of its apparition are mainly unknown to the specialized medical oncologist that activate in this field and unfortunately the treatment to it is also a medical mystery.
Some relate the apparition to this affection with hereditary issues, the passing of the diseased gene in the DNA structure from first or second degree relatives that encounter not ovarian cancer in particular but other cancerous disease that eventually was treated.
The other cause lies somewhere in the age line of every woman. After a certain age, the risk of encountering an ovarian cancerous disease is much higher, and if combined with the hereditary factor we can talk about fifty percent chances. After the age of fifty five a woman’s body goes in some transformation processes, and the ovarian cancer is closely linked with the post menstrual period.
There are some hormonal imbalances and cell peculiar activity that also triggers the apparition of it but mainly the cellular unbalance can be defined as the prime factor. This happens when the cell layers that act in the inner tissue near the ovaries get old and have to be replaced by freshly new ones. This is a very old process and it goes on constantly in other tissue regions as well. Cell get old, can not function properly, and die, being replaced by younger and more powerful cells that continue to job.
Some imbalances that revolve around the tissue area can create a vast number of healthy fresh cells through division, and all of these cells can not replace the elder and dyeing ones. The tissue will produce in excess a number of these cells that are ready to do their share of responsibility but are unable to do so because of the elder ones that keep on doing the job. The excess cells gather on the right side of the upper part of the fallopian tube and create a conglomerate of cells.
This is what we call a tumor and it can be either benign,( when it is not so dangerously and damaging for the body, and it can be properly and simply removed or treated with some medication; and after this, it has a zero point one percent of ever re grow) or malignant, when it can get a little more complicated and the disease itself can easily spread to another form of development.
The malignant form of cell mass gathering is more impact-full in a negative way than the benign type and often much more hard to treat. Chemo therapy, radio therapy and other forms of treatment are conventionally known nowadays and much appreciated for their long term healing effects…but of course the side effects are always unpleasant.
