Dogs And Ovarian Cancer Rate

Affection in the ovarian region affects more and more women worldwide. This disease is responsible for the annual deaths of over fifty two thousand women, and another one hundred thousand sufferers.

Often called the silent criminal because the symptomatic states of it are almost unnoticeable. Sensations of bloating, an abdominal fluid presence that usually leads to the inflammation of the belly, some difficulties in eating light or fatty meals, associated always by the constant fullness sensation, overall tiredness and an urinary constant urge followed by a stinging pain feeling are often misdiagnosed.

This happens because the ovarian cancer can easily mimic other diseases that appear far more common in that particular area, affecting the reproducing organs and the surroundings. This is a tricky part and it is one of the miss diagnosed diseases in the world.

It has four clearly defined stages, but the first two, which are not that harmful, often cause a vast number of problems that are not detected easily. The last two stages are the deadliest one, and the cancer advances far more quickly, spreading the tumor shaped formations to other organs.

This is why a constant medical supervision is necessary, especially if you know about your medical cancerous history. These diseases can be passed on from a first or even second degree relative who once in their life time encountered a cancerous affection, regardless of the fact that it had affected the breast area or the colon; it may develop later on in the ovarian region. Diseased cell tissue can easily spread through the blood stream and create tumors that in most of the cases are identified as malignant.

The treatments differ from individual to individual. The most common form of therapy is the chemo one. It is a toxin inducing method, where the chemical solutions destroy the diseased cells and removes the malignant tumor that is formed in the right side of the fallopian tube, just where the tubular shaped organ is linked to the ovary.

The other methods can be surgical intervention, radiation, and other medication prescribed treatments, depending on the evolution and stage of development of the ovarian cancer and the tumor that is formed.

Having a dog around has been recently proven to be a medical bless. Not only it prolongs our lives, keep up our morals and make us laugh, but also having a dog as your companion is good for the health.

Many of the women, who had a high risk of developing ovarian cancer, had lower risks of ever developing it because they owned a dog.
