Green Tea And Ovarian Cancer

The statistics of ovarian cancer registered on the grounds of the United States has been keeping a constant flow for more than two decades. Last year, the American Society for Cancerous Affections presumes that almost twenty thousand women will be affected by this disease and another fifteen will lose their lives.

While discovering the affection in its prime stages elevates the survival chances up to ninety percent or at least seventy five to eight percent, it essential to know the fact that most women are developing a more advanced form of ovarian cancer without knowing this fact.

Prevention is far more important than the actual treatment…this is where the green tea infusion come in hand. Recent studies have shown that a regular consumption of this type of tea is beneficial for the whole body. The studies have shown than in women that were prone to develop a cancerous affection (due to the fact they reached the age of sixty, after the post menopause period and/ or having a first degree relative that once in their life time suffered from a cancerous disease)

Knowledge is usually the best fighting weapon of them all. Info is always relevant in the prevention of many diseases, especially the ones that develop from cancerous diseased cell structures and hormonal imbalances. Last year, research taken on some Japanese sufferers with a form of epithelial ovarian affection was volunteering and studied closely for a three year period.

These patients or their first and second degree relatives were followed and interviewed using lots and lots of questions. The statistical rate of deaths was gathered and damaging ratios analyzed. Increasing ratio and green tea consumption quantities were linked with a far longer survival rate in women with cell imbalances that trigger epithelial forms of cancer.

Taken in comparison with the more non green tea consumers the new survival rates were slowly lowering its rates. The idea is that green tea should be administrated as a therapy, meaning that for a period of time, a required quantity had to be consumed. This started out with the same diseased volunteers from Japan that were prone to develop cancerous affections while keeping other forms of treatment. The study was actually very hard to monitor but after a year’s period, they have noticed that the ones that consumed green tea with regularity, had lesser and lesser chances of encouraging the diseased cell division and the speed that the malignant tumors spread into the body.

The quantity that was initially tested was somewhere between two hundred grams and three hundred. After this study, the medical community board in oncology and gynecology studies wanted to increase the daily dosage of green tea consumption. Since more of this tea did not meant or encourage the apparition of any known side effects in its volunteers, they increased the dosages to half a liter.
