Being one of the four most deadly diseases in the world, ovarian cancer is more than an affection. Numerous attempts to find the proper cure have not been efficient so far, and the medical community is still battling on, trying to understand more and more of its effects and how it evolves during the four stages.

It was said many times that prevention is a far better weapon than any kind of available treatment today. Sometimes awareness can have the same positive impact. The idea is to keep the public informed at all cost about this particular disease that claims so many lives year by year. This is where marketing enters the stage. Many brochures tend to create a mass frenzy with all the terrible cases, with the lack of hope, with the overall difficulty in which the sufferers are once diagnosed with these affections.

It is a mind’s game in most of the cases and this is why marketing has the best weapon in keeping all of you informed. They started out printing funny t-shirts as a business idea that worked pretty well at the beginning. Those t-shirts contained messages about the constant fight against the ovarian affection or simple advices like: ‘let the doc’ check you out’ so that it will encourage a visit to the gynecological cabinets.

But this, from a business idea to a well built weapon to change the vision and making the people want to look for books regarding this terrible affection is something else. The medical communities, along with some ovarian cancer fighting societies worldwide, have been producing a whole segment of fashionable clothing in order to keep everyone informed about the impact that it can have on a woman.

They printed t-shirts, hats, blouses, jackets, cups, mugs, stickers and of course, magnets designed to stick on any exterior part of your car. All these market products serve for the bigger purpose of keeping everyone aware of the dangers of the ovarian cancerous affections. Of course in most of the times these products represent the standard ribbon universally known as the official stamp of the ovarian cancer, but in other cases we can talk about advices, quotes, a short message like ‘I fight ovarian cancer’, or ‘ ovarian cancer sucks’.

Many of these car magnets that create the awareness of the ovarian cancer picture a telephone number where there are women ready to inform you about all the necessary details regarding this affection. Other magnets inform you about an oncology specialist that had a lot of success in treating this affection for many women sufferers. Regardless of the message, the important fact here is to create the tri dimensional image of this terrible affection that claims the life of many women year by year. The message overall is beware, and being aware means keeping up to date with the information regarding it.
