Ovarian Cancer Current Events

Ovarian cancer is a complex form of cancerous disease, placed in the top five of deadly cancerous disease under the number four indicator. This disease affects more than one hundred thousand women year by year which are diagnosed with it and not to put in the equation the other fifty two thousand women which will eventually lose their lives by the end of this year alone, most of them not even knowing that they are actually suffering from a deadly disease. We will take a look at the ovarian cancer and the current events that are developing to stop it.

Ovarian cancer is developed slowly in four stages of evolution which virtually point out the tumor growth and the cell imbalances that create it in the first place. To explain this disease more clearly, remember the fact that the cells are bio organisms that live inside of each and every one of us, we are basically created from these cells and their day to day activity is to take care of any little detail that happens at a microscopic level.

All this activity is very strict, and it involves a routine that is not braked for nothing, except for a cancerous disease, or any other affection that can affect the very own essence of their meticulous activity. It is often the activity of these particular cells that we can thank to day by day.

Sometimes, the cell, which has fulfilled its role in the whole genetic universe, has to die, so that another freshly divided one can take on its role and go further with it…Some imbalanced activity and gene negative influence tends to make some of the cells divide without the so called “request” that the body makes when it feels the cell’s activity is about to get diminished or stopped by the imminent death.

These freshly divided cells come in the millions and they have no basic responsibility to face, the elder cells have not finished the “job” and they can not take over yet.

So they end up sticking on the right side of the fallopian tube, which are the channels that the ovule uses to travel from the ovary towards the womb during the ovulation period. The cells gather in this particular region on the tissue wall, creating a cell conglomerate or a tissue mass, which in the medical world is qualified as a tumor and this can be deadly in some cases, where it develops the malignant properties, when it spreads and develops on the other vital organs in the region, process of metastasis.

The world of ovarian cancer and the current events tends to go towards the most expect result of all, the proper cure, or the universally accepted treatment measure which will be as easy as swallowing a pill, and not the chemo nightmare therapy, with hundreds of side effects and often emerging complications, survival rates going low and other problematic aspects in this region.
