The studies show that ovarian cancer is the most common type of cancer in women globally and over 50 000 women it is diagnosed with this disease every year. The deaths from this terrible disease are increasing because they are no signs until the cancer is spread to the other vital parts of your body.

Ovarian cancer actually is an addition of several tumors that are form from different sorts of tissue founded in the ovary. The frequently type of ovarian cancer is developing from the outside skin of the surface of the ovary. Some sort of  rare types of ovarian cancer arises  from the egg-forming germ cells or from the supporting tissue of the organ. Non-cancerous tumors or benign are also found in the ovary and are much more frequently  than ovarian cancers.

In most of the cases the ovarian cancer it is founded late after is was spread to the other vital organs and the percent of the women which are diagnosed in the first stage of the disease is very low approximately 20 % . when the disease still may be curable. The sad part is that there is no surely screening test to detect the early cancer but a regular trip to your doctor , pelvic examination or blood test can detect a kind of irregulars that can lead to ovarian cancer.

In June 2007, the American Cancer Society, along with the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, have founded some possible early symptoms of ovarian cancer and some include bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, weight loss from difficulty eating or feeling full very rapidly or urgent or frequently urination.

How this cancer works? First of all cancer begins in our cells. In a normal body everyday cell grow and divide new form to make new cells according to our body needs. The old cells die. In some cases the old cells don’t disappear and these extra cells can form a tumor or some growth. These tumors can me benign that are non lives threatening or they can be malign and that is cancer.

If you have a benign tumor despite that is non life threatening the best thing to do is to remove it surgically because you can decrease the risk of a cancer to begin. If you remove it surgically there aren’t any chances that it will grow back. But remember a benign tumor is no cancer, it can’t put your life in danger, and these tumors do not spread in different parts of your body.

After the doctor finds out after doing a biopsy that your tumor or growth is malignant you have to start a treatment. These malignant tumors are cancer. They can put your life in jeopardy and that’s why you have to remove it quickly that it doesn’t spread in different parts of your body and doesn’t invade the tissue around them.
