Stage 3c Ovarian Cancer
Published on May 05 2010, in the categories: Disease stages
Ovarian cancerous diseases are very common nowadays. Actually this particular disease is qualified as the number four assassin between the cancerous affections. There are many affected women, and the unfortunate thing is that the number of the suffering ones reaches way over one hundred thousand.
Not to mention the other fifty three thousand women who will basically lose their lives by the end of this year. Ovarian cancer is often referred to as the silent killer and this is because its presence in the body is not reflected in any of its symptomatic states, and this is how it can slip unnoticed, developing the whole four stages, the tumor, without anyone to know.

As we already pointed out there are four stages of development, and most of the times we are dealing with complex problematic issue that are not often miss placed or not taken in to consideration when they should. There are some concerns regarding the ovarian cancer and the proper staging methods, and this is because there are no perfect and clear boundaries between them, this is why they subclass some of the stages with alphabet letters, for instance like the 2 b stage or 3c stage. It is all part of delimiting the effects and of course the main problematic issue here…the development of the mass tissue tumor conglomerate that affects the whole body.
In the first two development stages of the ovarian cancer the tumor is not yet fully developed and the symptomatic states may often go unnoticed. There are many things to take in to account here. But it all starts with the prevention techniques. A woman should know her own medical history and if she had suffered from a cancerous disease or not. Ovarian cancer can easily develop from previous cases of breast cancer and it is important to keep in mind that having any cancer rooted disease, that gives you at least forty five percent chances or redeveloping or recurrence cases. In this case you should go a lot more often to the gynecology office and from time to time to monitor the whole peculiar, strange or inadequate things that might happen during the menstrual cycle.

While the whole phenomena behind the stages is the tumor’s development we took a slight look at the third stage of the ovarian cancerous affection, mainly in the last phase of it, the 3c ovarian cancer stage.
This particular phase is very important because unless you have managed to properly identify it, and diagnose the whole disease, from here on end, there is going to be pain. This is actually a marker for the last stage entrance, and this physically means that the tumor is already spread to other vital organs around the body, the whole cancer has metastasized, and the conventional chemo therapy and other forms of treatment are not quite efficient here. Surgery remains the solution but there are thirty to thirty five percent chances of making out of it…
